Prenatal & Postpartum Care

VNACJ Maternal Child Health Services help mothers and babies receive the care they need when they need it most. Specialized care is provided to pregnant mothers, new parents and their newborns in the home during prenatal and postpartum time periods. Specially trained maternal-child health nurses and lactation consultants provide:

• Education on health and hygiene
• Nutritional counseling
• Childbirth and parent planning guidance
• Registered Nurse home visits
• Assistance with nutrition, primary care, community services

Pediatric Care

Through the use of a family-centered care approach and strict adherence to physician orders, VNACJ nurses and therapists providing pediatric care are experienced in dealing with a child's special needs. They work closely with family members to create just the right care plan for your most valuable possession—your child.

• Apnea Monitoring
• Cancer Care
• Premature Birth
• Cardio/Respiratory Issues
• Early Intervention for Special Child Needs including autism, chronic illness, serious injury, birth defects
• Trauma Care
• SIDS
